Calls for submissions
ARCHIVAL CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS
We welcome proposals for new calls for submissions, subject to the following principles:
-
Each proposed call must be original and should not overlap thematically with any ongoing or planned calls currently promoted by the journal.
-
Researchers who are not section editors may submit proposals for new calls. However, such calls cannot be managed by a single external proposer – a section editor with appropriate subject expertise will serve as a co-editor for the call.
-
Advances in Clinical and Experimental Medicine does not publish stand-alone special issues. Articles submitted in response to a call for submissions are published in regular journal issues. Accordingly, the editor responsible for a call acts as editor of the call itself (with dedicated information on the journal website), rather than as a guest editor of a separate issue.
-
All manuscripts submitted through a call for submissions undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process.
-
Submissions resulting from a call for submissions are not eligible for article-processing charge (APC) waivers on this basis. Other incentives may apply, as outlined here:
https://advances.umw.edu.pl/en/article-processing-charges -
All proposals are subject to editorial assessment and approval by the Editor-in-Chief and the editorial team. Acceptance of a proposal does not guarantee acceptance of any submitted manuscript.
-
Proposed calls should align with the journal’s scope, editorial strategy, and standards of scientific quality.
