Streszczenie

W pracy poglądowej przedstawiono czynniki wpływające na przeżycie chorych dializowanych, uwzględniając choroby współistniejące, wiek i płeć chorych, infekcyjne i nieinfekcyjne stany zapalne, stan odżywienia, adekwatność dializy, stężenie hemoglobiny, opiekę przeddializacyjną i czasokres dializowania. Podkreślono, że w praktyce klinicznej o przeżyciu chorych decyduje najczęściej niekorzystne współdziałanie kilku czynników.

Abstract

This review article presents factors influencing survival of dialysis patients, putting a special attention for comorbidity, age and gender of patients, infectious and non−infectious inflammatory status, nutritional parameters, dialysis adequacy, hemoglobin concentration, predialysis care and dialysis duration. It is pointed out that in clinical practice usually coincidence of several deteriorating factors predicts dialysis outcome.
