Streszczenie

Wartykule przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia dotyczące epidemiologii, diagnostyki, profilaktyki i leczenia obustronnego raka gruczołu piersiowego. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na problemy związane z obustronnym rakiem gruczołu piersiowego, które wymagają opracowania jednolitych definicji oraz schematów postępowania. Brak takich uzgodnień utrudnia porównanie rezultatów badań prowadzonych w różnych ośrodkach i ocenę wyników różnych metod leczenia.

Abstract

In this article the authors describe epidemiology, diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment of the bilateral breast cancer. They focus on some problems of the bilateral breast cancer, that are not clearly definited and that need schemas of the medical proceeding. Without these definitions one cannot compare the results of experiments of many institutions and one cannot evaluate the effects of different management methods.
